Ordering Info

What are my payment options?

I accept payment via paypal, VISA, Mastercard, or Discover.

I live outside the united states. can I still place an order?

I ship worldwide from the US. There are a few countries that do not allow shipments from the United States or are not available if you purchase via Paypal. If there is an issue, I will contact you as soon as possible.

I no longer accept orders from Africa, due to fradulent charge backs. Any order from Africa will be cancelled.

Orders may be subject to import fees or tax and it is your responsibility to pay them as required by the laws governing your country. I mark all supplies orders as "CRAFT SUPPLIES" and all jewelry orders as "FASHION ACCESSORIES" on all international customs forms.

Do you charge sales tax?

8.6% sales tax is automatically added for residents of Colorado.

I live in Colorado too! Can I meet you somewhere to get my order?

Unless you will be attending one of my upcoming events, I am no longer able to meet customers to deliver orders. Shipping is very reasonable and quite fast if you are local. I've learnt over the years that arranging meeting times can actually take LONGER for your order to get to you than simply slipping into the day's mail.

If you want a kit for an upcoming class, or will be at one of my local shows, feel free to contact me with your request.

How much is shipping?

The shipping calculator in the shopping cart will calculate your shipping cost based on your location. Expedited shipping is available if you are in a hurry.

International customers are also responsible for any duty, taxes or other fees charged by their local customs regulations. I mark all supplies orders as "CRAFT SUPPLIES" and all jewelry orders as "FASHION ACCESSORIES" on international customs forms.

For more information on US customs laws and regulations regarding your country, please view this link from the USPS:

Please note that if ordering expedited shipping, these times does not include my production time of 3-7 business days or more, depending on the item, and any delays the postage system may have in customs, or at your location. If you have a birthday, event or other deadline, contact me and I would be happy to see what I can do for you.

When will I receive my order?

Please note that I am a one woman shop! All my jewelry is handcrafted with care by me. Orders ship within 3-5 business days. Some items have a longer production time, which is noted in the product description. MANY orders ship much faster than 3-5 business days, but from time to time, yes, I do take the full 3-5 business days to ship your order. During peak seasons, my production time may be increased, and it will be noted on the homepage - if there are any delays to your order I will let you know as soon as possible. If you have a special event that you are working against the clock on, feel free to leave me a note when you check out, or contact me and I'll be happy to let you know your order's expected ship date & do what I can to send it speedily on it's way.

To determine when your order will arrive:

production time + shipping time = order arrival

What is your refund policy?

If your piece does not meet your expectations when you receive it, please contact me within 10 days of it's arrival. In most cases I am happy to work with you to correct the issue. Returns will be done on a case by case basis, and must be returned unworn and in it's original packaging. Unsolicited returns will not be accepted.

Each of gemstones I use are unique and yours may very slight differ from the picture. Also, due to the nature of handmade, your piece may differ in slight details from the product listing.

Discounted, clearance, and some custom items are final sale. All supplies and tool sales are final.

I'm giving this as a gift, what if I pick the wrong size?

I am happy to exchange bangles or resize bracelets or necklaces if needed after the gift has been received. The first step is to contact me within 2 weeks of your order (I generally have more lax deadlines for the end of year holiday season). Then, after arranging the exchange with me via email, simply ship me the piece to be resized. Include a check or money order for $3 to pay for the return shipping ($5 if you would like priority shipping on it's return trip). Please contact me before returning, and ship in the original gift box in a padded envelope. Insurance highly recommended.

What size bracelet do I wear?

Measure with a flexible tape measure to get your wrist measurement. You can do this with a strip of paper or string if you need to, mark where the ends meet, and then measure between the marks on a normal ruler.

Take your wrist measurement and add about 1 inch, depending on the bracelet. A thin weighted bracelet, such as the Petite Byzantine, would only need 3/4 to 1 inch, while the chunky Bold Byzantine would need a 1 1/4 inch. If in doubt, leave your exact wrist measurement in the comments when you checkout and I will size it appropriately. Let me know that it is your wrist measurement, and not your bracelet length.

Here is a printable ruler PDF you can print out -- make sure you print it at 100% with no scaling, or the ruler will not be accurate.

If even after careful measuring, you find you need your piece resized, please see my exchange/resizing policy.

What size bangle do I wear?

Here is the easiest method to measure for a bangle.

Close your fingers together and bring your thumb to your little finger, just as you would when you slide a bangle over your hand.

Use a flexible measuring tape, string, or strip of paper and wrap it snugly around your hand at the widest point. Then measure the string/paper with a ruler. This is the circumference of your hand.

Here is a printable ruler PDF you can print out -- make sure you print it at 100% with no scaling, or the ruler will not be accurate.

Choose your size from the chart below -- if you are in the middle, always round UP, never down, or your bangle will not fit over your hand.

7 inches 2 1/4 inches X-Small
7 1/2 inches 2 3/8 inches Small
8 1/4 inches 2 5/8 inches Medium
9 inches 2 7/8 inches Large
9 7/16 inches 3 inches X-Large

If you would like, I can make a bangle custom sized for you, simply contact me and we can work out the details.

If even after careful measuring, you find you need to exchange your bangle for a different size, please see my exchange/resizing policy.

Metal Information

Sterling Silver

Traditional sterling silver is an alloy of 92.5% fine silver, and 7.5% copper. The copper content of the sterling silver is what causes sterling silver jewelry to tarnish over time.

14K Gold Filled (yellow or rose)

14K gold filled wire has a layer of 14k gold bonded to a brass core. 1/20th of the overall makeup is 14k gold. The layer of gold in gold filled products is much thicker than a gold plating. Gold plate wears off in just a few months, whereas gold filled will last decades. Gold filled jewelry will not tarnish over time.

Will my oxidized sterling silver piece stay black forever?

To create my signature black oxidized pieces, I take the sterling silver and oxidize it until it is black. Oxidation is a natural process that happens over time naturally to sterling silver, I just hurry it along with a chemical process. Then I polish the blackened rings until they are shiny black.

The black oxidation will rub off over time. The black is a surface layer of oxides, which will rub off where it touches your skin and stay dark in the recesses that does not, showing highlights of bright silver and lowlights of dark silver. The patina will change as the piece ages, making your piece unique to you, and growing more beautiful with wear.

If you prefer the original black treatment, I do offer a re-finishing service for my oxidized black pieces for a small fee, depending on the piece. If you are interested in this service, contact me and we can work out the details.

How do I care for my jewelry?

Sterling silver

Tarnish occurs from a reaction from the sterling silver and sulfides and other chemicals in the air. Faster tarnish can develop in high humidity or pollution level areas. Tarnish can be removed by rubbing or buffing with a soft cloth, and the job becomes much easier when using a Sunshine polishing cloth -- these clothes can be used until they are completely black. Just remember, NEVER wash them, as they are impregnated with cleaning compound that will do the polishing for you.

I do not recommend cleaning sterling silver with toothpaste, as toothpaste is an abrasive and can dull the surface with tiny scratches. I also don't recommend sterling silver dips - they can remove the finish from some gemstones, and if not rinsed well afterward, it can leave a residue that is difficult to remove, and can attract dirt and oil.

To prevent it from tarnishing, when you are not wearing your jewelry, store in a zip lock bag with the air pushed out.

You can clean your piece from dirt and oil from your skin with a few drops of dishwashing soap (not machine detergent), and dry with a clean lint free cloth. I often give whatever bracelet I'm wearing a wash whenever I wash my hands.

A gentle rub from a polishing cloth will remove tarnish and shine the sterling silver beautifully.

Over time, if you wear your sterling silver jewelry often, a lovely patina will develop of highlights of shiny silver, and lowlights of darkened silver in the recessed areas which don't touch your skin.

Please do not wear your jewelry to bed, in the shower, pool, ocean, hot springs, at the gym, or any other circumstances where it will be in contact with harsh chemicals (natural or otherwise) or be subjected to excessive wear. It is best to put on jewelry after applying makeup, hairspray and perfume, etc. A good rule of thumb is put your jewelry on last before you leave the house, and take it off first when you arrive home.

14K Gold Fill

Gold fill is cared for with a simple wash with mild soap and water, just as with sterling silver, to remove dirt, oil and residue. Gold fill will not tarnish over time as sterling silver does.
